Private Classes
Do you have a group coming to Ely to celebrate? Is your company in need of a bonding experience? Private classes are available for small groups, birthday celebrations, wedding parties, family reunions, corporate retreats, team building events, and more!
We have a wide variety of crafts and topics that are possible for private classes, depending on seasonality and timing. Whether your group chooses spoon carving, bread baking, or wood burning; you’re sure to have an experience where you learn not only about a new craft, but about yourself and each other.
These can be hosted at your location or ours. All ages and abilities are welcome. Contact us to inquire.
Private classes with the Ely Folk School are generally a minimum of three hours and have a minimum of eight students. Pricing is dependent on the class and supplies required.

Space Rentals
​
The Ely Folk School boasts a large and versatile building in the center of Ely. The Ely Folk School welcomes space rental requests from businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals planning meetings, celebrations, and other events.

Located near the top of the hill on Sheridan, the Ely Folk School has 2,000 square feet of space available as well as a small yard. Your group can utilize our full kitchen, fire pit and yard, and A/V system for presentations or films.

Our venue works best for smaller events (50 people and fewer). We schedule rentals between 2 and 10 weeks out from your event. Ely Folk School programs take priority and your event is subject to venue availability. Ely Folk School staff will work with you to identify a date and time that works for us and your group.
